JOB DESCRIPTION – POWDER COATER
Cendek Railings is currently looking for an energetic individual to join the team in our fast paced manufacturing plant.
Cendek Railings manufactures aluminum deck railings for commercial and residential applications. Railings are fabricated and powder coated in house to meet the growing demand throughout North America for an engineered safety guardrail.
Here is an opportunity for you to learn a new skill to become a full time Powder Coater
Job Duties include:
– Spraying a powder onto aluminum parts daily goals are set.
– Learning the science as well as the art of painting
– Moving product through the paint line via a transfer beam system
– Taking down material after checking paint quality
– Helping feed the paint line if necessary
Qualifications:
There is a longer learning curve to acquire this skill, therefore we are looking for someone who is reliable, committed to staying in the Okanagan and eager to learn a new skill.
-This is repetitive work in a fast paced environment.
Benefits Available:
-Starting wage – $18.00 per hour for individuals with no experience, with a wage review at 3 months.
-Starting wage -$19+ per hour with powder coating experience. Negotiable for the right candidate.
-Benefits after 3 months
-Shift available – 7:00 am – 3:30 pm Monday to Friday
