City Avenue Market is a locally-owned and family operated business. We have 4 locations in the lower mainland: 2 in Vancouver, New Westminster and Port Coquitlam.

We are looking for a full-time cashier to join our team at our Vancouver location.

This is a permanent full-time position with 40 hours per week.

The store is conveniently located within 5-minute walking distance from Commercial Drive/Broadway skytrain station.

Store Address: 2279 Commercial Drive, Vancouver

Responsibilities and Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Handle tenders and process transactions accurately
• Provide a high level of customer service
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the work area
• Receive and sign for deliveries
• Assist the grocery department with stocking as needed
• Other support duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

• Detail-oriented and organized
• Excellent interpersonal, teamwork and customer service skills
• Ability to memorize a list of PLU codes
• Ability to work a flexible shifts including evenings and weekends
• Fluency in English
