Full Job Description
As the kitchen supervisor you will be in charge of overseeing the day-to-day production, and are responsible for:
- maintaining quality control
- scheduling staff
- ordering product while staying on budget
- hands on position requiring participation in food prep, service, and kitchen clean up
- ensuring the kitchen is clean and following health guidelines at all times including weekly deep clean and continuous recorded temperature control– be prepared for spontaneous kitchen visits from the health inspector
- creating a supportive and productive work environment – aggressive language and behaviour of any kind will not be tolerated
- seeing to staff needs and referring to Chef Don or HR when needed
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 1-year supervisory kitchen experience required
OR
Minimum 3 years kitchen experience required
PREFERRED SKILLS
Kitchen management experience
ADDITIONAL NOTES
Hours – 9:30 – 5:30 (no evening hours required)
