Role Summary:

Leading a team of finance professional, this role will be responsible for oversight of all accounting and financial activities of the business, as well as preparing management reporting, and bank reports.

Responsibilities:

– Manage the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including bookkeeping, payroll, accounts receivable, and accounts payable

– Manage, and ensure accuracy and timeliness, of periodic financial reporting and bank reporting

– Lead, coach, and support the accounting and finance teams

– Review periodic reconciliations, schedules, payrolls, etc.

– Build strong internal and external relationships

– Create efficiencies through implementing best practice approaches

– Develop, implement, and maintain a system of internal controls

– Take an active role with management in overseeing the financial health of the company

– Provide financial reporting, analytical support, and innovative ideas to support management decision making

– Develop and maintain a rolling forecast model for the company

– Assist on new initiatives and special projects

Experience and Skill Requirements:

– Ability to speak Hindi or Punjabi

– CPA Designation

– 5+ years of full cycle accounting experience

– Strong written and verbal communication skills

– Excellent customer service skills

– Excellent skills with Microsoft Excel and Word

– Excellent time management and organizational skills

– Ability to work individually and as part of a team

– Self-motivated

– Able to manage competing priorities, while adhering to strict deadlines
