Full Job Description
We are looking for a baker who has a desire to be creative and isn’t afraid of hard work. Someone who is happy to be with a growing company who wants to grow with it. You will have a desire to work to the highest standards. Ideally someone who has a good understanding of yeast based dough and also, meringue. We are based in a commissary kitchen so you need to be organized yet flexible.
General Duties
– Prepare batter for canelés, dough for donuts and various custards, fillings and toppings as needed.
– Cut and roll dough
– Proof donut dough
– Bake or fry various products
– Top and fill canelés, donuts and pavlovas
– Help with ordering of ingredients
– Help with all tasks in day to day cleanup.
Requirements
– Baking and pastry diploma.
– Minimum 2 years experience working in a bakery.
– Be a team player but also able to work alone without supervision.
– Completed food safe
– MUST LIVE IN THE GREATER VANCOUVER AREA. WE HAVE NO LMIA
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Salary: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
