POSITION: Nutrition Services Worker
STATUS: Casual
DEPARTMENT: Nutrition Services
HOURS OF WORK: Various shifts

POSITION SUMMARY:
The floor staff are responsible for service of meals to residents at meal times, stocking the unit, maintaining cleanliness of work areas and dishes as well as equipment used in, and for, those areas.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:
- No formal training required but must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Good mental and physical health; must be able to lift heavy items.
- Good communication skills.
- Well-groomed, neat and clean appearance.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Interest in personal learning and development.
- Able to relate to elderly persons.
- Able to fulfill the requirements of the position as demonstrated by regular attendance at work.
